  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups finely chopped apples (preferably Granny Smith)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
