Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cups crisp lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken strips in a splash of oil until golden brown and cooked through (about 5–7 minutes).
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger paste, rice vinegar, and cornstarch mixture until smooth. Pour over the cooked chicken and simmer for about 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  4. To assemble the wraps, layer crisp lettuce on each tortilla followed by the teriyaki chicken mixture, shredded carrots, and bell peppers. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  5. Roll tightly from bottom to top; cut in half if desired before serving.
