  • 2 Black tea bags or 1 tbsp loose leaf black tea
  • 1 Apple, thinly sliced
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 tsp Ground nutmeg
  • 1 Star anise pod (optional)
  • Maple syrup (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sliced apple, cinnamon sticks, ground nutmeg, and star anise (if using). Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5-7 minutes to infuse flavors.
  3. Add black tea and steep for 3-5 minutes according to your taste.
