  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil or parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil salted water and cook the jumbo pasta shells until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain carefully.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the lean ground beef for 6-8 minutes. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella until well combined.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
