  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 56 peaches, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter for maple butter sauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup for maple butter sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Melt the cubed butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in milk until just combined.
  3. Toss sliced peaches with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup. Layer half over melted butter in the baking dish.
  4. Pour batter over peaches without mixing. Add the rest of the peach slices on top.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  6. For the maple butter sauce, combine butter and maple syrup in a small pan; boil for two minutes.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream and drizzle with maple butter sauce.
