  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 cup bone broth
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onions, celery, and bell pepper to the skillet; sauté until crisp-tender.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and jalapeno for one minute.
  4. Mix in spices: chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; cook for another 30 seconds.
  5. Incorporate diced tomatoes and tomato paste; stir well.
  6. Pour in bone broth and let simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes.
