  • 1 cup packed brown sugar (divided)
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Drizzled caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and half of the brown sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly, then press into the prepared pan.
  3. Evenly sprinkle pecan halves over the crust.
  4. In a saucepan, heat remaining butter and brown sugar over medium heat until bubbling. Cook for an additional minute and pour over pecans.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot bars; let sit to soften before spreading evenly.
