  • 5 ½ oz finely chopped white chocolate
  • ¼ cup double cream
  • 3 ½ oz unsalted ground pistachios
  • 9 oz finely chopped milk chocolate
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • â…” cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add vegetable oil and water; whisk until smooth and let rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low heat and pipe thin strands of batter; cook until pale.
  4. Lift cooked kataifi strands onto a towel to cool.
  5. Melt white chocolate with double cream in the microwave until smooth; blend in ground pistachios.
  6. Toast kataifi strands in melted butter until golden brown; mix with pistachio cream.
  7. Chill mixture for an hour, then form into balls.
  8. Dip each ball into melted milk chocolate and garnish with chopped pistachios.
  9. Refrigerate until set.
