  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 2 cups vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess moisture. Cut into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat tofu cubes evenly.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook tofu until golden brown and crispy on all sides.

  5. Cook brown rice in boiling vegetable broth for about 15-20 minutes until tender.
