  • 6 oz dill havarti cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp dill pickles, chopped and patted dry
  • 2 pieces salted butter
  • 1 handful dill pickle flavored potato chips

  1. Gather and prepare all ingredients: grate the dill havarti cheese and chop the dill pickles.
  2. Spread salted butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer half of the grated cheese, followed by chopped dill pickles. Top with the remaining cheese and place another slice of bread on top—this time buttered side up.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes). Flip carefully, pressing down gently with a spatula to ensure melting.
