  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ⅔ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy.
  4. Add pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients gently until just mixed.
  6. Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set but soft.
  8. Cool on wire rack before icing.
