  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition along with the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder in another bowl.
  5. Alternate adding dry mixture with sour cream into the creamed mixture until just combined.
  6. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Layer remaining batter and finish with a gentle swirl using a knife.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
