  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season sliced chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil. Stir-fry green beans for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and optional red pepper flakes. Pour sauce over chicken and green beans; stir to coat evenly and heat for another 2-3 minutes.
