Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salsa and sour cream (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  4. Spread the seasoned meat over one half of the dough and top with cheddar and mozzarella.
  5. Fold the dough over to seal the filling inside, then cut into 1-inch strips and twist each strip before placing it on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, then bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
