Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef tenderloin

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh rosemary (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef: Whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Place the beef in a resealable bag; pour the marinade over it and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  2. Sear the tenderloin: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove beef from marinade and sear on all sides until browned (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  3. Glaze and roast: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Transfer the beef to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush reserved marinade on top and roast for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Rest and serve: Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle with remaining glaze and garnish with fresh rosemary.
