Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 eggroll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeño peppers, green onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  2. Lay an eggroll wrapper on a clean surface and place about 2 tablespoons of the mixture diagonally in the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal edges with water.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry eggrolls seam side down in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
