  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats (quick oats)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in flour, cinnamon, and salt until combined. Press into the prepared baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. While the crust bakes, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Prepare the streusel by mixing rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and cold cubed butter until crumbly.
  5. Spread the apple mixture over the crust and top with streusel. Bake for an additional 45 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
